Almost always, leaks and breakdowns on a relocated hot tub will happen occur the first 24 hours of being resuscitated, due to the trauma and stress of having been moved.  Rarely does anything fail a week or a month later.  If it survives the initial move with no problems, it’s almost certainly secure to for a long time.

Tips:

-Once you run through this checklist and have identified some problems or potential issues, ask the seller if they’re willing to give it a 48-hour guarantee to ensure it survives the relocation.
-If they are reluctant to foot the bill for any repairs, ask if they’d agree to split any repairs 50/50.
-If they won’t agree to that, it shows that they’re not very confident about its condition, so ask for a more significant discount, or simply walk away.
