Hot Tub Wasp Ant Infestation
We lifted this hot tub to see this then we all got stung badly. Turns out it had termites, too!

Creepy crawlies that are part of the organic decomposition system help accelerate rot.

Nuisance insects such as bees, ants and wasps are sometimes hard to remove once they’ve made a tub their home.

Tips:

-check for the obvious signs of insects around the hot tub

-check the gap between the shell skirt and the skirt, from underneath.  Is there enough space for wasps & other bugs to crawl in?

-when possible, remove panels and check under the tub for powdery deposits like fine sawdust indicating there are insects eating away at the foam and/or wood.
